up the card very cheap to try it but cant seem to get the rendition mode to
initialize.
have been racing GPL since it came out.. I like to think I am pretty
good.. (within about a second of the fastest laps) and enjoyed it up
until about a month ago.

he first time I installed the game using the windows option, so that I
could use my usb wheel. With the install, the rendition version was giving
me several errors.
as anyone had the experience of suddenly no sound in NR1999 when running in
a dos box. My machine did this a few days ago, and we can not come up with
what is wrong.

final flag drops ?
Why dont they just relax and wave to the crowd like me...?? <ggg>
put in a Sound Blaster Live Value recently. With only a K6 233, I needed the
help with frame rate for GPL. It helped GPL a lot, but now I can't get GP2 to
see my sound card.

... because it's using a serial or USB connection instead of a classical
gameport-joystick connection.
