Hi ..

I think that someone should start a COV only race league on VROC. I'd do
it my self but my system is not up to part to HOST.

Whenever i go to VROC, most racers drive LOTUS, Ferrari, etc. and hence
us novices who straddle Conventrys have no chance of winning.

Just my two cents ..

Being a novice is just something everyone has to be till they get the
hang of what they are doing.  Don't let the "PROs" get you down.  They are
only PROs because they have run for a while longer then the novices.  Give
your self some time and you'll be a PRO.

In the mean time, There can be only one winner at any race.  That winner
is the one that sticks around long enough to see the checkered flag.  If you
just try to survive odds are you'll come in at least in the top 10.  If not
the top 3.  Just because you are a "Novice" doesn't mean you can't win.

Case in point..  I ran a race at the Glen and qualified in 7th place.
At the drop of the green flag two of the front runners go together and
crashed.   Later on some of the others got together and/or just plain lost
it.  I ended up winning the race just because I survived.

There is an online Cov league though it is a direct connection and not VROC.
Be warned though there are some very quick drivers out there

I'm not a big fan of one type of car races, let alone a league devoted
to any one make. As for not having a chance of winning, you will still
find extremely fast drivers able to turn 1:08s at Watkins Glen or
better. I drive a Brabham for now,and hold my own everywhere except Spa.
I've won against all makes at most tracks, and lost a lot more races
everywhere. I'm never close to being the fastest car out there, but I
usually keep it on the track for the whole race, forcing the competition
to beat me,not beating myself.
