% I'm completely hooked on GPL and the VROC site is great. But I can't
% seem to get hosting to work. Joining a multiplayer game is no problem,
% but for some reason when I try to host, nobody has ever got connected to
% my machine.
% I have a p2-333(overclocked to 360), ADSL with a constant IP address,
% and a Voodoo2 card. Netscape 4.5, windows 98, GPL full install.
% What am i overlooking , any ideas?
I don't know if this really applies to your situation, since you have a
static IP address, but it's worth a try. Try adding the following to
your core.ini file in your GPL directory:
[Communications]
alternate_ip_addr_lookup = 1
It would appear that VROC is launching your GPL session, but is not
getting the correct IP address for some reason.
