Sound Blaster Live

I put in a Sound Blaster Live Value recently.  With only a K6 233, I needed the
help with frame rate for GPL.  It helped GPL a lot, but now I can't get GP2 to
see my sound card.  I can't see any conflicts in Device Manager.  None of the
available  settings on the GP2 sound set up screen work.  Any ideas?  Anyone
else playing GP2 with a Sound Blaster Live?  I really like GPL, but I don't
want to give up on GP2 yet, either.
Thanks!

I'm sorry to say it but I gave up on all my DOS sims. Try checking out the
"fast find" tool which has a neat "system" function that displays IRQs etc.
Make sure you have the right settings in your autoexec.bat file. They are
usually quite different from what Device Manager indicates, especially for
DOS settings.... Please take this information as a suggestion only since I
haven't stayed with DOS since Win95.

Check to see which IRQ your SB 16 emulation was given (under Creative
Devices in Device Manager).  I think that dos4gw or whatever its called
only recognizes IRQ 1-8 for soundcards.  My system gave me IRQ 9 which
would not work with some DOS games.

The SB16 emulation should get the IRQ 5. Since then all my DOS games
work properly.
