Tech Question: Using FPS2000 w\ Sound Blaster Live!

to get off Daytona for a second...

I've been trying to connect my FPS2000 speaker system to my SB Live X-Gamer
for some time now. Since Creative never replies to my e-mails, I'm turning
to r.a.s.

To utilize the digital features with the FPS 2000 speakers, a Digital DIN
adapter must be put in one of your open slots and a cable connects from
there down to the soundcard itself. If you're done this yourself you know
what I mean.

Anyhow I can't figure out where to plug it into the sound card. It seems
like it should plug into the short strip of gold prongs (don't know the
techie term for these.) but when I try to plug it in, it won't fit because
where it seems there should be a hole in the plug it is solid. (like the
machine missed one of the holes.)

Am I looking in the wrong places, or does one of the prongs need to be
removed? Frankly the included instructions are little help, but with yours I
should be up and running.

Thanks
