I have an STB Velocity 128 AGP (4 Mb RAM).  How will Grand Prix Legends run
on my system?? (FPS??).  The computer is a Dell PII 266 with 64 Mb of RAM,
plenty of Disk Space.

Dominic, I have a pll 233,64m sdram, and had a stb128 w/4mg and got low
fps10-12 with very few graphics enabled, so I installed a Thriller w/8
mgmand now get full 36 fps with most graphics enabled, good enough to race
online with good results. another option would have been to add a voodoo ll
card to your 128(the Thriller replaces 128), but I wanted to try Rendition
card for driving sims. Hope this helps!   Ed

Before I got my TNT, I had a Diamond V330 4MB and with the OpenGL patch and
mirrors every 8 frames and at 640x480 res, I could get about 30 fps in the
open with the detail bias midway.  P2 300, 192 MB RAM.  If I remember
correctly, I had to use the nVidia reference drivers for it to work.  It
also ran in 800x600 with a considerable frame-rate hit.

I have essentially the same system, and you'll not get any satisfactory results
without a Graphics Accelerator. After careful research and TONS of help from
this ng, I'm tonight installing a Diamond Monster 3d II (Voodoo2 12 meg) in my
system. Suggest you explore something similar for decent graphics and frame
rate. GPL is a bleak, unwinnable simulator without one.
