HELP: Colin McRae Rally menu moves very slowly

by DaeWon Ki » Sun, 14 Mar 1999 04:00:00

Hi all.
I'm playing CMR with Matrox Millennium II AGP and Voodoo 1.
But Menu animation is very slow.
I tried to turn off "Music" but failed. It can't be turned off.
And I also tried to turn off the hardware acceleration.(Someone said
that it will work for it)
It didn't make menu animating faster.
What shall I do?
Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Firstly, get the latest drivers for your Millenium - http://www.matrox.com/
Then right click on My Computer, then the Performance tab.Click graphics and
move the slider two to the left.

That should fix it, it worked for me.

Thanks Keith.

I'm using Matrox's 4.12 driver.
I moved the slider to the left.
Then CMR works fine.
But the others(normal 2D graphics) are extremely bad.
It's also annoying to set and re-set this setting every time I play CMR.
My computer tries to reboot whenever I change this setting.
Is there any idea?

Anyway thanks Keith.
