s anyone still running a Diamond Viper 770 Ultra for their gaming??
If so, is there any other updates for the card besides what's being shown at
the old driver site shut in 1999.

would like to remove the mounting clamp Microsoft force feedback
wheel and attach a strip of Velcro. My computer table is too thick to
accept the clamp and I have read that Velcro works well
Because of the deadzone problem in F1 2001, I'm using DXTweak
to correct it. Does using DXTweak affect/screw-up the
deadzones/sensitivity of other racing games like GPL, NFS or Viper

keep getting, "Error Creating Directory" message instantly after clicking
"Install" button. Nothing seems to work via trying to install from
different source directories,
Just saw soom screen shots of f1 2001 which seem to include a saftey
car. is this in the sim, and if so when doues it appear please....ive
never seen it.

Just to say there is another excellent 'HighRes' skin @ 'SimBin' to d/l.
this time the 'Lister' this is fast becoming the 'Mother of all Sims'.....

run N2002 D3D since OpenGL looks real bad and I don't notice a big
fps difference between d3d and opengl.
The only problem I have now in D3D is that the shadows of the car are
corrupt
laying GPL with a sonicfury soundcard I get the sound through my speakers
rising and falling of its own accord. Has anyone else had this problem /
know how to fix it?.

just bought F12001 but I'm totally new to the game. When I start a
practice session, I cannot seem to drive faster than 60 kms per hour, even

ow I am NOT knocking the game as N2002 is truely a masterpiece and a

First of all, let me say - "Great job" - on this sim. Where Nascar 4 made me
doubt the future of this franchise, N2002 has re-established my
hy don't they make an auto-update feature so that you can download current
driver ratings.
For example, if Dale Jarrett is sucking, download a new driver stats set,
with him sucking.
