The first thing I learned about racing is that if you know you're going to be passed, HOLD YOUR LINE!!! (The caps there aren't my emphasis, it's the way it was explained to me ;-) The racing line is always low in the turns and high on the straights, good drivers who are off-pace don't jump back and forth from high in the turns and low on the straights to stay out of the way, for god's sake. They pick a line and stay there at a steady speed knowing that everyone will adjust to that and get by with no problem. So no additional evidence of driving ability is necessary.
The sad part of this whole deal is that your initial point had (IMO) some merit. Everything you've said since that point, however, has been grossly counter-productive.
