Your argument regarding the legalities of the situation would be laughed out
of court.

I do admit it was my fault...it was due to a delayed reaction time on
my part AND the leader going much faster than me. All in all... he
did not wreck and he kept on going as fast as he did before.
There seriously could be major legal issues here if one wanted to get
that involved...because what if for instance I had paid for a server
to start up my own league and then become banned? Could you sue for
this? What about the fact that they CANNOT prove that I was
"intentionally wrecking" the guy like the rule is stated. How about
the fact there was never a wreck? Prob some interesting stuff
there... oh well
But anyways, I appreciate everyone's opinions on this... i knew there
would be some not believe me... of course those are the racers that
are still racing online and think... 'well i'll never get banned so i
don't have to worry about it'... well i thought that too.
If anyone wants the replay I got it....
They have even banned me from the Nascar 4 Forum on the www.papy.com
webpage
If it's not too much trouble... email papy at online....@papy.com and
tell them what you think. Whether it be about banning me under their
assumption I'm am a a wrecker, or banning in general.
Anything you can do to help me (and all the others that are, or will
be banned when they do not wreck intentionally) PLEASE do!
thanks so much! God Bless :)

Not sure what that has to do with what I said but you are correct in the fact that most leagues have their own arbitration procedures. The problem is, how do you distinguish between a pickup race or a leagure race on Sierra.com. I sympathise with him but you have to realize that Papy has more to lose by not doing something about the wrecking than the few customers it will lose due to people that just buy it to intentionally wreck others. I applaud Papy for trying to give us all a better experience and to be honest, I gave up pickup racing for that matter. But my 150+ LPI wouldn't be if I raced pickup races, it would be more like a 15 LPI.
My idea of an arbitration board would solve the problem of people being banned for unfortunate incidents.

What leagues don't have their own way of handling incidents? I can see
being banned from apickup race scenario, but not league play, EVERY LEAGUE
I've ever seen has it's own rules and protest/incident handling. If it was
a league race as it seems it was, the LEAGUE should have handled it....

The leaders thought the right thing to do was go low. "B. Hilton" (I suspect in all innocence)
thought he was doing the proper thing in going low. Are there establish, posted rules as to
which is correct in NASCAR online racing? Somebody made a mistake. The "pool rules" should have
that situation established before the race starts. That would go a long way in avoiding turmoil.
Only one comment on the legal, ethical, political, or any other "..al" area. Seems in an earnest
attempt to clean-up the area they went too far the other direction without some form of a
"three-strike's" rule or some appeal process. The "wonderful world of warping" with online sims
can be the problem in itself.
If my first point and the expectations of drivers was clearly established, I suspect it would
minimize the need for the second.

Well, i always thought it was generally accepted that the lapper should hold
his line, let the overtaking car decide where to go. If the leader can drive
worth a crap, he should already be planning on where/how to pass the lapper
long before he makes the attempt. Lappers...just hold your line, don't make
any dumb last second moves.
