Andre, my fellow league racer :) there are also other factors that come in
to play. First, he says he has A LOT of experience racing online and has
been racing Papyrus's series since NASCAR 1, therefore he should know to
hold his line after all these years, 2. he just added he swerved so sharply
because of a blown tired, well if your tire is blown, why did he keep going
around the track a few laps instead of pitting? (I have the 2.62mb replay
but just cut it down smaller so you can just see the wreck) 3. He's never
once posted here EVER (check the archives) so how can we really trust him?
4. He claims he's in a league but fails to tell us the URL of it. 5. He
claims he has 2 kids that have better ranks than he has, but he's 23 and
claims to have a 7 rating at SS, ST, SW, or RC (didn't specify) 5. Watch the
replay in slow motion, you'll notice contact isn't made until his front
wheels are over the dotted line, I don't think you swerve sharply all the
way down to the apron to let the leaders pass.
Your pretty much saying what I said. I think Papy's rule is a bit strict,
but I did mention he could have just been frustrated and had a dark moment,
but to me it looked really intentional. I tried swerving like he did on the
same track offline and it's extremely hard to get back on track after
swerving that hard.
Thanks,
Alex
