How about Driving a DODGE Aries in chicago on the Loop with the AIR on
high and the temp guage on high and it in 1st gear at 70 mph for about
25-30 miles pulling into a place to park shutting it off and just as
you do the radiator cap BLOWS OFF so hard it dents the hood from the
underside.... Then its time to break the ignition lock and take a cab
back to your room and say it was stolen

Nope, I did not write "Come on, dream up a rental car story and
entertain us!!", I think your editing got mixed up a little.  No problem
but please try to be more careful when quoting others...

Nope, ozone depletion theory is NOT universally accepted as anything
more than a theory.  Many reputable members of the scientific community
dismiss it as pure unsubstantiated conjecture.  In fact, today's NY
Times (June 18 edition) has an article on this subject you should read.

Curbs eh?  I love to hit em straight on! and if it pops the Hubcap off
I go get that they will charge you for that.

Another thing to do is take the rental car to a local small airstrip
and buy some of the class c aviation fuel its about 130 octane and put
that in the tank and hit the road!!

Sometimes on the fords they will get so hot that the underhood plastic
will "Heat Soak" and actually crumble if you touch it ! I did this to
the lincoln # 2 in texas last year I kept getting it hot and the fan
shroud started to crumble away. and the plastic snake wireharness
covers crumbled away.....

Its amazing when you take cars back to budget or avis all the 18 yr
old punk kid with the scanner looks for is the mileage and gas guage
scans it in you sign your credit reciept and wait for the bus to the
terminal and you see them taking the car straight to vaccum, wash and
then park it ...waiting for the next renter , they dont check shit!!

Some people have the ability to write humorous and entertaining stories
and some don't.  It's sad when someone thinks they're telling a funny
story and then has to explain to everyone afterwards that it was a funny
story.   Get many blank looks, do you?

Same here, drove one for 3 weeks, put 2000 mi on it and waxed it a
couple of times. Didn't want to be seen in a dirty car I guess. Didn't
feel the need for the oil change bit.
