Then every Winston Cup driver is wrong when they say Bristol is more difficult

Is my commitment to racing any more/less? Ive been here since the begining
and Sim racing since Bill Elliots Nascar Challenge. I would bet I had the
biggest long distance bill on Hawaii :) (Im embarrased to say how much). I
wasnt ridiculing your commitment in any way, merely disagreeing on
differeing track difficulties.
Unfortunately I dont pick my words as carefully as I should at times :)
Been a long long time since I was "in class" and when I was it was more to
look at chicks than for any "book-learnin" <G>.
Yes and no, there are aspects about racing _at_ Bristol which are more
difficult. It is more difficult to pass, it is more difficult to keep your
cool as everybody else is *in your face* all the time, etc... For a
professional racecar driver it *is* a mistake to label a certain venue more
difficult than others, though
Happens all the time though. Just been watching the first couple hours of
the Zolder 24hr race and drivers were saying that this 24hr was more
difficult than the Spa or Le Mans 24hr. What they meant was the***pit
workload per lap is higher/more intense and the higher number of shifts and
the nescessity to use the kerbs was harder on the cars, but they said "more
difficult".

Which reminds me,
Since when did free speech have anything to do with racing. Lives are at steak
people.

One pet peeve for me is the very nature of RASCAR invites opinions from those
who don't race with RASCAR but feel the need to voice their own take on someone
else's rules. I am always amazed at that. They love the bickering but let
someone try to stop it ...
It would be great if everyone who felt the need to chime in on someone elses
problems would just sign up and race and put a real effort in to make an impact
with numbers. But ask anyone of them if they stand outside that dept store
leaning up against their truck while slamming mgmt on how stupid they are for
running a sale like that. One of RASCAR's biggest problem is where all this is
discussed. How many other leagues have to endure this open a forum. Heck, even
in OLR you have to join just to see what everyone is saying.
Like my man Charles, "I could be wrong, but I doubt it."

Now that I think about it, Josh had them showing up at his door lol

And vice versa. Most leagues run their own forums for a reason, to keep it
in the league not public. It would be nice if RASCAR could do the same.

I think they mean exactly what they say. Its more difficult which in turn
creates the hatred.

RASCAR does a pretty good job of labeling it's threads. Easy enough not to
open and read wouldn't you say??
NG standard policy, you don't like it? Don't read it.......

In all fairness Sean... I too am think this has gone *too* far.... Had I
not had special interest in the subject I'd be screaming out like hell....
Considering that this is a subject/topic that concerns 20 or 30 readers of
this forum - the amount of posts on the subject are getting redicilously
high.
