1. Allow hosts/server-admins to turn off the wall-riding "fix"

2. Allow hosts/server-admins to force dirt/oil on wind-shield.

3. Allow hosts/server-admins to enforce the number of pitcrews to be
displayed.

4. Allow hosts/server-admins to force sun-glare/lens flare/shadows (if this
is something you see in the car and not just on replays.)

5. Allow hosts/server-admins to enforce any [other] setting that might give
an advantage if turned on/off.
[or any other setting I might have forgotten :-)]

Agreed, Ed. I real want to see forced***pit views enforced. ATM, there
are too many roof hugging or kite flying cheats out there.

This has been beat to death, there is no advantage of using any view.  Use
the one that makes the driver the most comfortable and safe to run near.
The view does little to impact the drivers performance or give the many
advantage.

You're are absolutely right! WHAT WAS I THINKING???

Hold on though...the host's rules should be respected, right?

Oh I agree 100% with that.  If the host wants***pit view then it shouldn't
be hacked around.  Wasn't trying to argue that point.

WOW! You seem to have some Enforcement issues, dont'cha? <VBG>

Just for the record I could care less either way... Throw them all in as
long as they arent a factor in performance for people having them all turned
on. If so I would rather NOT see ANY of them. I would much rather have more
people willing to race, than a few elitists that think they are racers.

As long as the race admin can control it I'm happy.  Some we force on in our
league such as smoke but typically the rest we leave up to the driver.

I guess this would be better to include only 1 thing :

"Allow hosts/server to write their own scripts using the open-source
language of NR2003 ;-)"

N. Allow hosts/server-admins to turn off the idiotic auto censoring
of words. In the Finnish league we naturally chat in Finnish and
every other word becomes %&"#".. but ironically none of the
Finnish curse words are affected :-)

This should also apply to the roof and chase views.  This would
prevent people from choosing a view simply because one of those views
does not have oil/dirt.

Ummm, why?  What could this possibly do to even the playing field.
Some folks' graphics can't support all those moving polygons.

This should also apply to the roof and chase views.  This would
prevent people from choosing a view simply because one of those views
do not suffer the same characteristics.

I think that they should be able to individually disable driving
line, clutch, steering and braking help.  However, the clutch help is
almost necessary if your driving rig does not have a clutch pedal,
especially at the road courses.  That's the only "help" item I use.

If it is anything like Dirt Track Racing 2 I suspect the dirt/oil will be
visible in all driving modes or so I would hope.

I'd settle for a plausible drafting model, damage model, and more flexible
collision code.  Nice to see some of the eye candy being done, but there's
bigger fish to fry imo.
