It's all in the ID assignments Eldred, I think. I have actually managed
in the past to be able to have more than one joystick profile in
controllers on win95 without getting that miserable 'not connected'
status for one of them. Try changing both IDs away from #1 and then put
the one you want back to #1 and see if it works. Then when you want to
go back to the other try doing the same again, but this time put the
other back to #1. I'm not sure that it always works, but it's worth a
try. :)
