Good things, like, only available on the XBox maybe? The one console
without any force-feedback steering wheel support?
Not any more. Thrustmaster have just released a FF Xbox controller which
looks very nice. Most upcoming racing games are intending to support FF.
Problem is, they'll most likely be interested in making money, no matter
how crappy the sim. We, on the other hand, will be interested in good
Papy sims, not bad ones. But given past experiences, there's a very good
chance that's what we'll get.
In other words, MS does not care about making good sims. Just
money-making ones; and there's a profound difference - more Road Rash,
anyone?

"Its new Force mechanism will optimize the force feedback effects generated
by Xbox games."
It gives you a choice as to what effects you want to use.
"In fact, the gamer will have the possibility to choose between Force
effects, vibration or no effect by turning the switch button."

If it does, CAN YOU PLEASE PUT OUT THE GOD DAMNED PRECISION WHEELS MR
GATES, thanks.
Pity the homemade USB-->Xbox adapters don't really work or the problem
would be solved. It would be nice to play the good version of Thunder
without the stability aid turned on.

And considering FF has been so unsuccessful in the U.S. that Guillemot
doesn't even bother importing the promising-looking Ferrari FF wheel for the
PC, I wouldn't expect to see anything better for the Xbox than TM's
execrable NASCAR Pro Victory wheel (a truly uselsss piece of h/w) on this
side of the pond.
