You're an idiot, Jonathan, "man". FPSes aren't platformers in the arcade platformer sense. Duh. I had plenty of friends when I role-played but the "campaigns" sucked, they took forever to DO anything, and were boring. 3D RPGs are FAR more interesting and fun.

GTA3 - my take

If you think I'm a girl you need to get out more because you couldn't be more off even if you tried, dork.

And I didn't give up D&D (and paper RPGs in general) "so quickly" since I played them for at least 5 years. They had PLENTY of time to get better in that period; they simply didn't and I found computer games to be MUCH more immersive. Shit, that's why Neverwinter Nights is being developed, practically: to do what NO paper RPG can even THINK of doing in real-time and with MUCH more immersion.

Oh and consider yourself filtered from now on since you haven't learned to evolve yet, kid.

<some snippage>

Really, this is quite ignorant. Ever since real time strategy games (I
curse them!) became popular on the PC, strategy games have gone
downhill in my opinion. Why? Because I have never played an RTS where
someone with fast reflexes (not me usually!) couldn't win by swamping,
no matter what 'balancing factors' are supposed to be built in to the
game. Where's the strategy in that? At least on consoles, they tend to
be 'old-fashioned' turn-based affairs, where you can take your time
and work out a strategy. You could argue that console strategy games
are simplistic as compared to the PC ones, and there I would tend to
agree, but I prefer less micro-management.

You obviously aren't using enough TNT if the consoles aren't yielding the
same amount of fragments as the PC is.

he's closed it to in the past and probably causes irreparable brain damage.

When is getting slugged by a dinosaur and having enough stamina to still

When is humans and dinosaurs coexisting at the same time real?
When is Laura Crofts impossible figure real?

Why would you complain about realism in this game?
