RASCAR: Bristol Race Recap - NO YELLOWS!!! GREAT JOB GUYS

Way to go guys!! That was a lot of fun. I have never raced BRISTOL with
no cautions. That shows the high caliber of this group of RASCAR sim racers
and how even though they may considered 'novice' by some,  can still compete
at a track at BRISTOL and not draw one single caution.
My hats off to the group.

As for Mitch, pal, what can I say. You the man!!!!!!!!!
grub :)

Yes indeed. It was beautiful to see 20 expert sim racers in a tightly knit
pack, cutting lap after silky smooth lap in perfect unison. It was better
than water ballet.

Nice bit of irony/sarcasm, Grub, but, IMO and in view of questionable
connection quality, it went as well as could be expected.

Obviously people do silly things like racing for 13th like it's life or
death or trying to make up for an early mistake on a first lap of a restart,
but we are talking about a group of mostly (and I do say mostly) casual
racers here. In fact, I might argue people trust eachother a little too much
for smooth online play. If people were more wary of eachother, perhaps there
would be less incidents.

Anyhow, we can *** and moan about it and***the rest of RAS off, or just
take our lumps and try to do a better one next week.

My $0.02,

Jan.

Caution Flags: 22 (87 laps) a caution every 4laps? :)

I already sent him a replay that CLEARLY shows him warp 2 car lengths up and
forward then back into me exiting T2.  I told him it was warp but he clearly
makes his attitude towards me known and refuses warp as an acceptable reason
for the incident.

As far as Dan and David and Larry it's kinda questionable but  I'm truly
sorry for those incidents and accept full responsibility.  Bristol has only
one real passing opportunity and thats a dive pass unfortunately.

As far as you Simmons, GO TO HELL ***!!!  I didn't think it was possible
for you to be a bigger *** than here on RAS but I guess I was wrong!

Easy to criticise from the sidelines Dave. How's about you keep trying to
break 1m25s in LFS?

Five wide through the turns lap after lap!

Seriously though, warp was a big problem for some reason today. It was being
mentioned the whole race in chat. Guys were blinking and shaking all over
the place. I know from looking at my replay that I was hit twice from behind
and both times it was warp that caused it, not whoever the driver was. Jan's
car appeared to me to be drifting wide due to warp, I went low, and then it
skittered back inside where it really was and we touched. There's three
incidents due to yellows right there. Maybe all the storms here in the U.S.
today have got things jumping on the net a bit.

We could meet on equal ground in LFS if you wish?...but having a 25.92 in
the Turbo just makes me a hotlapper, so your bound to beat me <G>....Oh I
forgot that was a racelap LOL.....

I could buy N2k2 then give me as many laps as you in it, then we can race
hows that? <G>.....

Id take the first suggestion.....
