RASCAR: Uncle John's Race Recap for Coca-Cola

You asked, I deliver:

OOTR = "one of them racin' deals
FLAW = "***in lame-ass warp"
BBAO  = "blinded by ***obstruction (head up ass)"
SPM  = "stupid passing move"

Lap 4 - Cars 27 and 14 - OOTRD/FLAW - 27 (inside) wasn't giving 14
(outside) a lot of room on the front straight when 14 wiggled a bit,
coming down just enough to tap 27. I saw no actual cointact so it may
have been warp-induced.  88 got collected in this oneand would have
fared better if he had considered that the race was just starting, the
yellow was coming out, and there was no reason to go full-steam into the
corner.

Lap 15 - Cars 27 and 83 - OOTRD/FLAW - 83 (inside) and 27 (outside)
entering a turn, 27 was a little too close to 83 when warp caused
incident.

Lap 25 - Cars 83 and 88 - OOTRD - 83 dipped onto apron and hit 88 when
he came back onto racing surface. Fault to 83 (loss of control).

Lap 31 - Cars 26 and 67 - OOTRD - 26 drifted high and 67 drifted low as
they exited a turn.  Opinion: 67 should have tried to stay higher as he
exited turn because 26 was ahead of him and in the low lane.

Lap 45 - Cars 26 and 18 - BBAO - 18 came down on 26 as they entered a
turn. 18 should have maintained high line until he was sure the coast
was clear to move down. Fault to 18.

Lap 58 - Cars 26 and 12 - BBAO - 12 was 10 mph faster than the cars in
front as they entered the turn, and he failed to notcie the remarkable
closing speed with the 26 car, punting him hard into the wall. Fault to
12.

Lap 65 - Cars 19 and 98 - OOTRD - 19 came down on 98 and warped into
him.

The race was fairly clean with no overtly stupid driving on anyone's
part.  I doubt we'll see any races go incident-free, but if we have
incidents, these are the kind to have.  Generall, people just need to
learn to give a little more room for side-by-side racing because of the
possibility of warp.

Who are  you to judge me!!!! Who asked you to be the analyst?
Ok, I did. So what?
Oh, are you sure that I did?  Well, even if I did, I didn't mean what I
said.
Awl heck, Im leaving and never cumming back. My sentisive feelins have be
irrepariably damaged and I may never recover from this sad state of mind.

Ok, I feel better. That was fun. Anyone else got anything to say about Uncle
John's feedback. Make it good. I dont want to waste my time reading any lame
replys about the excellent analysis like the one I gave.

Damn - I was involved in 3 cautions in a ROW?  Ouch...
I had to look back at the replay to refresh my memory.  Lap 31 - I thought we
were clear.  I didn't feel the contact, but I saw Hoover head into the wall.
Sorry, Hoover.   Lap 45 - I *tried* back out when I saw him coming down low...
Another foot or so and we wouldn't have made contact.  Lap 58 - got down on the
apron and started sliding.  I was pleased that I actually caught it, then got
punted.  Argh - it ruined my day, but I'm glad that was only a *virtual* crash.
It mught have HURT a bit otherwise...<g>
Thanks, John.

I get whacked on lap 4 yet no mention?  I never saw who or what got me
either so I was kinda curious to see what you saw.  Heh..

I was only looking at the cars that caused the cautions.  That track is
so big that it's almost impossible to do otherwise. You made an evasive
maneuver and slowed to try to miss it but that didn't work.  It was a
collateral incident.  The only reason I mentioned 88 is because he
didn't appear to take what I consider prudent action to slow down enough
to miss the resulting wreck.

Umm. That was all warp. FLAW if ever there is was one. Larry did a nice,
clean pass and on my replay, his car then warped up into me (no, I don't
have the replay now) in a big way. In Eldred's replay, my car just shoots
off into the wall even though there's obviously no contact at all. I could
of given him more room though in case warp did happen.

None of that would of happened though if lap 62/63 never happened as it did.

Which reminds me - Hoover, where are you?  We still like ya - but you GOTTA
turn on the in-car chat, man... :-)

Yes, that incident was my fault completely. It's a shamme too because I had
done a decent race up till then. I'm hoping I didn't mess up eldred's car (I
killed my engine hitting the wall).

Apologies for causing a yellow
