10-4.

I just thought the attitude was "over the top", considering the nature of
Bristol.  I mean what was he expecting the race to be, especially in
RASCAR????  ;-)

No problem... I noticed your predicament and my car was messed up anyway, so
I took a chance on whatever latency made of me trying to tip you over.

I agree with you, BTW. It's Bristol, one of *those* tracks...

Hey Mitch,
No hard feelings on my part. I don't need a replay for you to prove
anything. In my neck of the woods, your word is as good as gold. If you say
it was warp, then it was warp. Simple as that.

My applogies to those if my sarcasm was offensive. I was fishing for
someone else here on ras but he hasn't bit yet. :(

Overall, I enjoyed the race and regret all of the warping problems. My
ISDN is usually very steady.....we much have some connection problems with
the servers here in the states.

Ditto. If I can't figure out how to keep off the wall while running by
myself, I won't even bother trying to race Saturday.

You're not kidding Darlington with an evil setup!

The fixed setup is loose as hell if you get off the throttle too hard.

The first thing I'm trying to figure out is how to stay out of peoples way
there.  In a way, it's hard to do.  The racing line there starts low, goes
high, then goes back down low again on exit.

This track worries me more than any other track.

The other 4 are ok.

I still think Darlington would serve better as a land fill :)

Warp is almost always a problem with Bristol.  It was in the days of TEN,
and it continues to be a problem.

I'm not sure why it's like that.

My server connection was perfect.  100 latency, 100 quality yet I still saw
problems.

I've often wondered if it's because the code in NR2002 itself can't keep up
with the track.  It's a short, very fast track with all kinds of background
graphics all over the place.  Toss in 20-40 cars, and that's a lot for the
thing to keep track of.

I even dropped out of another league race because I wasn't up to speed.  I kept
getting stuck on the wall while trying to let people by.  After I got 2 laps
down within about 50, I parked it... :-(

I raced on sierra the other night, and performed dismally due to not staying
off the walls. Seemed like my only choice once I hit it was to stay on it,
as trying to get off it inevitably sent me careening down into whoever
happened to be whizzin by me at the time...
