That wasn't meant to be taken literally. You're not too bright apparently.

Eldred is full of it. No one in two seasons of RASCAR has ever accused me of
dive bombing them or being reckless. I'm one of the drivers who has caused
the least amount of yellows. That's not an opinion, that's a fact. I had
screen freezes (often multiple) in just about every race in season one and
still rarely caused a yellow. I still get one every few races this year (had
one at Pocono during T1 once on Sat., but nobody knew) and yet I rarely ever
cause yellows. Either I'm the absolute worst there is at being a reckless
driver, or you're an idiot.

I was just fine until you rammed into me. I go many, many races without self
spinning. Nice spin a few laps later BTW.

I was about to purchase LFS when I read this shit post of yours, and I
remembered last year when I set up a server for the LFS demo. Pulled this
thread out of google which described the online racing from that week that
the server was up. Have fun reading it.

There's nothing you can tell me about online racing. Absolutely nothing.
I've been doing it for seven years, competed against great drivers in a
number of different games, beta tested sims (like RC2000), and was asked to
beta VROC with a very small group of others (because I knew what the hell I
was doing) when most here at ras weren't even racing online yet.

Notice he has stopped talking about his Pod Racer career? ;) But now the
truth is out, and recorded in replay after replay on the RASCAR site,
David is a shit racer!

Remember this gem?

"NASCAR sims are easy and very boring. Turning left is hardly a great
skill." -- David G Fisher

Remember the death of Dale Earnhardt, and how David ***led
contemptuously over the grief and respect shown here in RAS? He didn't
even post in the silent tribute thread, FFS!

Cheers

Gerry

PS, Fisher, I spit in your general direction, as always!

Dave, this is almost an Alistair Campbell style commitment to trying to
clear your name, and look where that got us (if you're not in the UK, you
won't understand that).

Would it be so hard to just.... shut up?

Tony Blair's chief spin doctor, heavily implicated in events leading to
the suicide of the UK government's weapons expert Dr David Kelly. He'll
probably take the heat for Blair when the enquiry eventually reports.

Sordid episode, crappy year for open government.

Thanks for the info Andrew. I'm indeed following this to an extent, but am
not aware of the names of all participants.

...and THAT is how people are to be judged...?!

Serious question by the way, I'm a bit stunned. I was (am, I guess) a
HUGE fan of Senna, and filled with admiration for his talent and what
he achieved - but nothing would make me post a silent tribute for him
on usenet. Some feel better by it, I think it's lame - I also choose
not to judge those who don't feel the same as me.

OPEN government?!?! <splutter> - that's a laugh. Higher ratio of
spinners than the average cricket team.

Rhetorical question I guess, this is Usenet and r.a.s.

Add to the fact that Gerry is a grumpy old Aussie well into his
retirement with nothing better to do all day than....hangon, that's
Bruce

Right, Gerry is the French Canadian who enjoys trolling amd pretending
his English skills are not all it could have been and...no, that's Frank

Damn, I'll need to get back to you on this one

How do you know he didn't post if it was silent ? Perhaps he was so "grief "
stricken that he was unable to reply.
Silent tributes are cringe worthy, imo.  Do you feel more wanted if you join
in with the masses, Gerry ? Is your life a bit unfulfilled ?
