You may have misunderstood me. I don't regard his not signing the silent
tribute as 'contemptuously over the grief and respect shown here in
RAS', it was more the trolling he did about NASCAR at the time of the
death.

Sorry, I'll try to be less in tune with popular usenet culture in
future! <ROLLS EYES>

Note I didn't say previous years had been any better ;-)

Certainly than ours at the moment judging by the performance. Not that
I care. Cricket's only claim to fame is being marginally more
interesting than baseball.

Being Scottish, you can imagine my interest in cricket is, well, it's
a matter of such supreme indifference that I can't be bothered coming
up with a metaphor!

I thought more or less all Englishmen were into cricket - mad dogs and
all that?

Imagine it, a lot of upset, grieving people feeling very raw, and what
does David do? He trolling all these same nascar fans, that's what!

Total ***er!

Nor me, if its conventional and accepted for English to like cricket then I
guess I'm doing my bit to avoid extinction :)

My father seemed more interested in cricket than his kids. 'Nuff said
:-)

As for going out in the midday sun, thanks to working nights I have a

Pale blue - lovely! Two weeks boiling in the sun at Rothesay turns us
a very fetching lobster pink colour. Who needs these Mediterranean
types....
