Need a quote?  Hmmm...How about the following?

Well you won't be missed - your description above seems to be about
yourself and your own content-free blowhard posts.

Joe
========================

I see you've remarked about what you precieve to be "blowhard
posts" by Franck.  He never said a word to you before (AFAIK), and you
then lash out and say this...and then forget you wrote it?...sheesh!!

When I first posted to you, it was to show that you had simply
confirmed Frank's ~perception~ that *MOST* (not all) people here were
***s.  This isn't my view (and I say this because I just know
you're gonna' slip a cog again), it's Franck's.  My post was not an
insult.

So, to put it in basic terms (which I still feel will go over your
head), not only had you indeed insulted others in this thread, you
also began this little comic adventure down Joedom-Lane.  Jesus Christ,
you are absolutely exasperating.  =P

The main difference in our arguments, Joe?  Your's I believe, is
dillusional.  I think it's time we put this debate to rest, you're out
of ammunition (as if you had any at all), and I'm tired of writing
words you fail to listen to (just so you understand - I said *listen*,
not *convince*, or anything else).

Cheers!

Marc

>it's OK for HIM to be one, and you'll all defend him on it, just

Joe, Joe, Joe.....

If anyone feels like engaging in a slanging match make no mistake, it
is a matter of supreme indifference to me. The last I heard calling
someone an "***" wasn't a racist slur, no country in the world has
a monopoly on ***s to my knowledge. What Franck said wasn't
racist, merely derogatory, and then under extreme provocation.

However, when things degenerate to the point of specific racist
attacks and taking no notice whatsoever of the feelings of the person
involved, that is pretty repugnant.

I fear you don't know what was said to Franck or the reason he was
upset. Go and read what he said and see if you still feel him worthy
of racial abuse. Maybe it's construed as slagging, but taken in the
context of why he was annoyed what was said was _very_ insensitive.

Do me a favout Joe, why not actually find yourself a reasonable
standpoint from which to have a discussion rather than just arguing
for the sake of it. AT _no_ time in this thread have I insulted you,
so please don't resort to the bogus "insult" card as you are doing
with Marc. Make your point sure, but let's base it on the real world
without trying to invent winning positions for you. This isn't about
winning an argument, it's simply about trying to avoid nationalistic
parochialism or racism on the forum. Believe it or not US citizens
have a _far_ from rosy image in many other countries of the world, but
no-one rubs their nose in it.

Cheers!
Joe

So you're saying that the reader's feelings only matter if an attack
is racist? Calling people "***s" and threatening *** is fine?

So is it your point, then, that two wrongs made a right? Because
someone said something offensive to Franck, he is somehow justified is
calling the "vast majority" of people here ***s? I fail to see the
logic of your position.

>So you're saying that the reader's feelings only matter if an attack
>is racist? Calling people "***s" and threatening *** is fine?

No, that's what you would like to think I said. What I said was that
it was a matter of supreme indifference to me if two guys want to
start fighting each other, even if one of these guys is a friend of
mine - his choice. When someone starts hurling insensitive racist
abuse at a friend I take notice. Neither is fine per se, but at least
the former is generally self-inflicted.

If you require further explanation please let me know.

Joe, if you can't see the nose in front of your face don't expect me
to draw you diagrams. Go back and read what was posted, and if you
still don't follow then you are simply indulging in mental
*** here, arguing for it's own sake. That's a solo pursuit
and I'll leave you to it.
