, managed to write the following BS:

No you _only_ elceted yourself into the (fake) Top 15 list in the first
place.

Hey with all the BS you've managed to write these last days I'd say  you're
running short on time if you want to "undo" all that....

No, but it's pure nonsense. Some people semi-flaming each other on
Usenet is the "root of everything"? GMAFB.

You should be asking this of yourself, since you seem to be the one
who celebrates confomity, who wants everyone to be the same and nice
and quiet and dull as toast.

Joe,

As usual Joe, you missed the point.  I had been refering to being
respectful to one other, and that the lack of this is the root of the
problems in society ~ not that Usenet-flames are the root.  Please
re-read my earlier post...

I celebrate conformity?  Somehow I'm not surprised to you didn't
understand my above statement. All I ask is that one treats others in
a manner they themselves wish to be treated, nothing less.  I can see
too that there's absolutely no point in attempting to have an educated,
interesting, and informative debate with you - you just don't get it.

roll of quarters, packed his bags and is waiting for his "ride" into the

Ah, now the insults start. That's a real rational, cogent argument
you've got there. I suppose you'll be threatening *** next like
Franck did.

he has no self-respect either.

IMHO, the newsgroups were pretty much intended for Open discussion of
topics. Having a leader or moderator creates a problem. Not everyone
agrees on who should be 'the' moderator. Though there are many people
such as Mr. Carver and Mr. Busch, and even Mr. Menard himself, that
are online 'constantly' doens't mean there are not just as many, or
more people just lurking. This said, I think that this should be
discussed with the rest of the group, not just the
'Top 15 SimRacers'...

THAT'S your "insult"!?!? GMAB. Franck says the "vast majority" of
people here "are just ***ing ***s". I don't think describing such
a claim (and another post in which he threatended *** against
someone) as "blowhard" QUITE qualifies as an insult.

You really are confused - here in one paragraph you claim it's not
your view, but yet you assert that view in the very same paragraph
(i.e., admitting that the purpose of your post was to confirm Franck's
perception). I recommend an elementary logic course.

You have no arguments to make it seems. I see you have no defense for
abandoning your own philosophy - you sidestepped or ignored all my
questions. The very post from you that I'm responding to is again full
of vitriol, insults and anger. Your philosophy would be a lot more
impressive if you could actually practice it, at least for a day or
two.

A r.a.s. leader?  How?  Since this news group is usenet based, which is
free, and served up by a buttload of servers, how does one expect to
lead it?

You gonna prevent people from posting if they don't agree with you?

Going to restrict posting to those in the 'same illustrious level' as
the leader?

*** a leader.  What we get on this newsgroup, the usual chaos and
occasional order, is part of it.  Nobody reads the stupid 'welcome'
posts.  Most ignore dumb threads.  Not me in this case though <g>.
Should we all email the leader with our patch ***es and N2 gripes?
Then this exalted person could email papy and they 'would listen' since
he speaks for every damn sim racer in the world.

Your use of the term leader is totally inappropriate and shows that you
know nothing of leadership.  Join the military and about 15 years you
can lead people.  After you are trained.

It is impossible to 'lead' in a newsgroup unless every user wants to be
led.  That means following orders from the person on top.  Not one
person in this group can order me to do shit.  He don't control my
paycheck, my liberty or my sex life, so he can just forget it.

This is directed solely at the person who originated the 'leader'
bullshit only.

Jim Fitzgerald

p.s.  No, I haven't broken my working N2 with any patches yet <g>

>Well, it's difficult to find a justification for racism and bigotry,
>but you're trying hard.

What the heck are you talking about? Franck was calling all sorts of
people "***" and worse so I chastised him for it. But apparently
it's OK for HIM to be one, and you'll all defend him on it, just
because he dressed up his insults in the politically correct racism
charge. And yet what he said was at least as offensive and hateful as
the post he was originally responding to.

Why not try to make an actual point or argument, rather than giving
into petty insults as you've done above?

You are as delusional as you are immature. I've insulted no one in
this thread - which is of course why you make a specious claim with NO
quotes to back it up, because there are none.

And yet you do not hold yourself to the standard you demand of others
- at the first sign of losing an argument you resort to petty insults.
I find it hard to be impressed with a philosophy that you've abandoned
less than 24 hours after posting it.
