True, but "open" racing only works if everyone co-operates........which is
a pretty unrealistic expectation  :)  All someone needs to do, is ask to be
on an invite list.  Then, they race and go from there.

Actually trying to make it _easier_ for him.  Doesn't sound like it is
now.

Agreed about ras, but if someone wants to make an ass of themselves about
it, I think most here would side with Eldred.  Know I certainly would.

Anyway, probably wouldn't work.  But the more complex it gets, the quicker
there won't be any ras races I bet.

Well, there are many league admins who post here.  Everyone here doesn't have
the password or 'invite' on their servers, and there aren't any problems.
After all, any serverdude has the right to allow who he wants, WHEN he wants.
I'm all for imposing a few rules, as per Jason's suggestion.  There should be
some sanctions for people who *continually* cause incidents.

Agreed, Eldred. I should be possible to run a clean race or two
with the grown-ups from RAS, shouldn't it? Oh, I'm talking
about RAS here.... sorry! ;->

Let's keep it the way it is and try without yellows in Pocono.

Cheers,

uwe

Hey Larry!

Just wanted to ask you if you could consider to switch one of the availibe
RASCAR carnumbers - and then upload your car so the rest of us can download
it...

On my PC you just drive around in a blue car with #8 on it.. and according
to our rooster - #8 has been taken.
See http://www.paddedwall.org/rascar for availibe numbers..

Would be so nice to see your real car online :-)
(+ you might want to d/l the carset yourself! :-)

Best regards,

Thanks.
I don't think that an 'invite' list would be clamping down too much.  That will
probably happen more sooner than later...

Won't work.  Most of us run Open races too, and LPI is a useless number when
you run open races.

To think, this all started over Eldred turning off Yellows for Pocono :)
