The IOM circuit is a public road course except for about 50ft of someone's
driveway iirc, so I doubt anyone will be bothered, plus technically it's not
the IOM, so in this particular case it wouldn't be an issue anyway.
Damn well looks like it though ;-)

I went to Goodwood festival os speed last year, and there was a GPL
stand there with some BRD racing frames setup with computers running GPL
and a version of the goodwood hill climb course. I asked if the track
was being released to the public, but was told Lord March had banned any
public use!
Tight git! Maybe he thought sony would give him a better deal, inbred
***! I'll never go to another FOS, it's a rip-off in my opinion.

Bruce.
I "drive" for the entertainment and if the AI is half reasonable, that's
fine by me.
In GPL I get the vast majority of my pleasure simply by the excellence of
tracks such as IoM.
But your point is valid - about converting IoM. But then so is that of the
person who created it and I endorse his personal wishes concerning no NASCAR
tin on the course.
You never know - if someone creates a superb mod for historic GP cars he
might well change his mind.
Bruce.
I'm not "happy about restricted choice", Mark, I'm happy to support someone
who doesn't want their work bastardised because they prefer not to have that
happen.
And as one who has some artistic ability, I can understand from where Jim is
coming.
Bruce.
If anyone is a "***" (which down here is slang for the female sex organ),
I'd say that you're exhibiting a few traits with that post.

It's a pain in the *ss to drive tho (and I mean that in the
best possible way!) because oftentimes you are having to brake
while in a turn to make the next (slower) corner, and for someone
hopeless like me I'm constantly spinning out because of how
braking affects a car which is turning. For the aliens out there
this certainly isn't a problem...
