Jeez, you want to drive big honky NASCAR cars on the Man TT circuit of
all places?

Some people really ARE nuts  (like anyone who drives that track in real
life  ;)

Maybe the Monaco GP circuit would be an even BETTER choice for those Big
Fa(s)t Americans, with a 30-car field!   ;)   Heck, no, Crystal Palace,
that's it!   <grin - imagines the carnage>

Yawn.
If I remember correctly, there was a part of the Long Beach circuit
occasionally used by Trans-Am that was 16 ft wide. With the***pit
field of view of the never-published SCCA Trans-Am game, the sides of
the track appeared to be touching both sides of the car...

I have been called worse than nuts so I will take that as
a compliment.    :-)
With the improved physics (over GPL) the road courses are very
enjoyable. With the coming addons with many different car models
being taken into account, N2003 will be the game to have in order to
experience it. It will be your loss if you choose not to.

Goy, its a shame some people live in the past and have trouble moving
on.
I was at Papyrus and got to see GPL when it was still on the drawing boards.
The day I was there they had the first working beta of Nascar 2 and I
wasn't
even interested. I just wandered around looking at all the terrific art work
and
modeling on GPL. It blew me away then and I had to keep my mouth shut for
a long time because until it got leaked by Sierra no one even knew it was
being
worked on.
GPL is a Classic and always will be but the physics are archaic and out
of date
compared to N2003. If the physics can be transfered over to other venues of
racing
there will be no comparison.
I'm looking forward to not living in the past.

I am sure there will be lots.  But I was asking how NR2003=GPL2?

Well, whoop-de-doo for you, Pete.
I can guarantee you one thing - the older you get the more you value the
past and the day will come when you also hold on to a favourite. And the
older you get the less you feel like "moving on"........unless you are
terminally ill.

I have no objections to seeing NASCAR 2003 modded to the hilt.
It can spawn ump*** different classes of racing machines and I should
***y well hope that the physics ARE different to those in GPL.

However, what *I* do NOT want on MY computer is a bunch of tin-tops
bellowing around the Isle of Man and if Jim Pearson feels the same about his
circuit then I think it's wonderful.

Now.....perhaps this will give someone the incentive to do a mod of N2003
which will pop out a gaggle of Norton's, Triumph's,
Ducati's....................

Bruce.
