Ok ok, acceptationementing ;)

NR2003 has a higher sense of satisfaction compared to GPL, imho.

Hear, hear!
It might be old but, by Christ, it still has a lot going for it.

LOL!!
Remember, Francois is developing his own language (refer a post a couple of
weeks ago).
Whereas English is a bastardisation of many other languages, "Ymenard" will
be a bastardisation of English.

A Multi Bastard, in other words. :)

OMG: Isle of Man!

I've just spent two hours with this circuit and am driven to say that this
is, without a shadow of a doubt, an absolute masterpiece.
Brilliantly conceived and executed, with distance compression so well
crafted that only those who have a good knowledge of the real thing would
notice.

There's been some really impressive real-world circuits created for GPL
since its inception and some of them are brilliant, not only in the artwork
but also in the driving enjoyment. These are the ones which, because they
combine the best of all aspects, sit on the very top shelf of GPL circuits.

But for Isle of Man, I've had to build a new pedestal; this creation sits
above all other road courses.

Truly a work of art.

Bruce.

P.S.
I am SO glad that Jim has rejected all thoughts of converting this for
NASCARxxxx.
To do so would be utter sacrilege.

Incredible is the correct word here.. I don't even dare to guess how
much time it took Jim to create this masterpiece..

I've just DLed it and completed my first lap. And you're definitely right!
It's a loooong time since I looked at a new track... I just don't have the
time to check them all out (or the brain to remember them well enough to
enjoy driving them :-)

Now I'm beginning to realise why the TT races are so popular, there's some
excellent driving to be had on this track. John's done a great job here,
and the only disappointment is that GPL can't handle a full length
version.

Thanks to everyone here for waking me up to this track's existence.

An absolute masterpiece!!!!
Can't wait for my wifes father to get back from his holiday and show him the
track.  He was born on IoM.
This is one years work well worth it.
Jim should be made a Saint.:o)

Do you know something the rest of don't?

Trans-Am physics doesn't equal GPL2 for me anyway...

Do such weird things happen if a NR2003 track is
too long?  The hard limit (5 miles) has been repealed,
yes, but is there a 'soft' limit too?  Aside from lag on
such a memory hog of course...

Unless you refuse to drive anything with fenders and a roof, N2003 is
more than just the mods from PWF, MUCH more

Hell, for all I know there may be something in there for open wheel die
hards as well, we've not even tried to venture into that area
