He wrote driver sensitive instead of diver sensitive, but neither of
them make any sense to me :)

Hi shit for brains :-)

...you were talking out of your arse then?

You really should try GPL, it's rather good. Until you have, your opinion is
just a pile of worthless comment!

Gerry,

I was kidding. I've spent plenty of time with GPL, and my overall view of it
has always been that it's an excellent sim.

What if Papyrus/Sierra does a modern  F1 or Cart sim using the GPL
physics model ?

It's not about the physics model, this is about the cars and tracks
from that era. Even if GP3 will be the best racing sim imaginable, I
will still want to drive a Lotus 49 on the Nurnburgring...

Will I be able to put my '67 cars and tracks in it? If not, it isn't a
replacment for GPL. I'll buy them, I'll play them, but I'll still probably
spend most of my driving time in GPL.

They may be the best sim on the market, but not the best '67 GP sim.

The best lines from the David Kaemmer interview:
http://www.simracingnews.com/newscenter/e3/articles/davekaemmer/index.
shtml

F1F: OK, well then if you could do another Legends-era Formula 1 sim

DK: What would I pick?

F1F: Yeah, what era?

DK: Umm, that's a tough one. [thinking]

F1F: Well I'll narrow it down to the Lauda-era, or the Turbo-era

DK: I would probably say[pauses]the mid-70's

F1F: So '76 - '77?

DK: Yeah. You still want to be racing at the 'Ring. [grins]
