GPL Online lock-up

I was wondering if anybody had this problem. I've been running GPL through
VROC fine. No locks-up. Once in a blue moon a disco. The last two nights
I've locked up. Screen freezes and I can hear VROC "Hold on to your but". I
have to do a crtl/alt/del to restart the computer. And sometimes that
doesn't work.

my systems:

PIII 600
128 ram
Voodoo 3 3000
Sb Live
Logitech Wingman wheel
TSW DB-15 pedals
Cable Modem

I almost always have 36 fps. This has not happened offline...yet. This is
something new that just started happening. Would a fresh install help? Any
ideas?

Chris:
 Are you running ZoneAlarm? If so check to see that it is not the problem.
If it is, then turn it off, when u race.
