ICR or F1 Racing on a 386

I'm just wondering if either ICR I or F1 Racing[er?] will run on a fairly
old IBM 386.  Does anyone know?  I'm not sure of the mhz at this time,
but if they won't run on any 386 that would be enough to know.

Thanks in advance.

I have an old 386/25 mhz with 8 megs. RAM. F1GP (World Circuit) works
absolutely fine with this setup. Even with 4 megs RAM, it worked great
(in fact, I can't tell the difference between 4 and 8 megs.). As far
as ICR is concerned, I don't know since I don't have it. Hope this
helps.

F1GP worked great on my 386SX/25 with track texture off. Of course, now I have
a Pentium 100 :-)

ICR on the other hand doesn't work all that well. Its still playable however.

I once tried to run Indycar I on my old 386SX/20, and it did not work.  The
thing just locked when I tried to go to a race track.  I suspect that it
might work on a 386DX, but who knows.

Carlone,  I have a 486sx25 and a P5/100.  It runs OK on the 486 with
lot of textures turned off and a reduced number of opponents.  The P5
runs it wonderfully at full blast, of course.  I'd think running it on
a 386 would be unbearable.  Hope that helps.

I used to have an IBM 386/25mhz w/ 6 meg RAM . . . World Circuit ran fine
(although at a less than optimal frame rate), but I couldn't get ICR1 to
run acceptably until I got a faster machine.

ICR worked fine on my 386/33 4MB.  I had to turn off ALL detail though
and limit the number of cars to like 10.  When a race started I'd get
like 8 frames per second, after that it'd usually be fine.
