During the F1 Pre Race show, they showed button playing the new
unreleased F1 2001 for PS2.

Even though Button wasn't using a wheel, he was
doing real good. hehe

The game itself looked very impressive to, for a console game :p.

Well I hope someone will finally comes out with One Good F1 Sim
for a PC! They all miss the mark [one way or another except GPL]
to me!!  Phew. Yes GPL!!!!!!!!!!! DGF!! Can ya see this?!! :o)~

Indeed!  I particularly liked the way the driver's head was being whipsawed
by the G forces in the rollbar-cam view.  (Hope there's a drivers POV as
well.)

FWIW its getting good reviews over in rasf-1.

Do we have to keep repeating this???
We all know by now that GPL is the only piece of binary coding that is worth
loading, and that all other F1 sims (including the complete and utter ***
that is F1RC) are a heap of excrement that don't deserve any space on a
discerning simmers drive!  So why is your message repeated over and over
again every few days??

If it bothers you then just dont read it & move on... It doesnt take
a rocket scientist to figure this one out!! Sorry all net cop jobs are

If every subject on this group was repeated as often as your message re GPL,
then where would we be?
Anyway, it is impossible to 'not read it', as obviously one has to read it
to know what the message contains!  I thought I was reading about F1-2001.
My point is obvious, no matter what the subject matter - in this case
F1-2001- there is always someone who has to bang on about GPL!  Why?  Who
mentioned GPL?  It's been happening for years now, well 3 actually, and is
very tiresome.

Hey Steve-

That was a Playstation2 being played by Button, and I asked the same
POV question to someone who had the game in Europe and they replied
that there was no true in-car view, only the one above the driver's
head.  There have been games out on both PC and PS, with an in-cockpit
view in the PC version only, so all hope is not lost, but I don't think
there is one in this game as of yet as far as I know.

I have no GPL comment.
