I just got a very fast cpu, and GP2 is beautiful...I also enjoyed it
more than the others on a p100.  This was due to the fact that the AI
drivers are more realistic.  Steve

No question, GP2.

Bearing in mind you asked which was the best CAR SIM, not the best
graphics, or the best frame rates.

Enough said!!!!!!

> GP2 (if you have a VERY powerful system to get a decent framerate)
> NFS1 (not as realistic as the above, but VERY nice)

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a TRUE car simulator, one that has scenery
of streets and roadways, where there are traffic lights and other
regular cars... Are there any of these out?

The AI in NASCAR1/2 is much better than in GP2.  GP2 is a poor
simulation because the control lacks a lot.  It's faster with steering
help on than steering help off.  And it's nearly impossible to drive
with a joystick with steering help off.

Did any of you REALLY read the question?  he want's a SIM to
allow him to drive a real in real world situtations.  Stop lights,
4 way stops and etc.

Although N2 or GP2 might seem like real world situations on some
trips to work. :)

I think that Sierra is coming out with some car sim, that can be even used
for driver's ed.

Well, the very best drivers certainly don't have problems driving faster
_without_ steering help. HOF2 proved that beyond doubt.

Maybe you just aren't good enough to turn it off?

Well isn't that just great They screwed us once with N2 and now they
want to teach us how to drive.  Not me brother I'll never buy another
Sierra product again. NEVER

Probably The Need For Speed 1 or 2 is your best option, if thats what you
are looking for.
You can even get booked by the police for speeding!!!!
