going, i couldn't after hours and hours wasted trying to get the screen
flicker out, will stick to Toca 2 a lot less hassel and just as fun , and i
haven't ever been impressed with games from papyrus so nothings changes

I feel sorry for you: You don't know what you're missing. On the other hand:
It'll save you a lot of time to do other things.
Maybe your problems aren't GPL related but more on how your PC is organized.
Really I didn't have any problem getting this game installed and functioning
properly ( the only thing which needed to be addressed was installing the
"older" glide driver in the GPL directory to overrule the non-compatible 2.54
driver shipped with my Diamond VII - again not a real GPL problem). All the
"whining" you read about in this newsgroup is to get the very best out of an
(IMO) already superiour race-sim.
Have to stop now, must buy an FF Wheel!!

Excuse my bluntness; it's only an observation. But just count the threads here
that are actually COMPUTER-related, rather than GPL-oriented. Personally, I
enjoy preparing and racing much more than putzing with my computer and
wondering what I loused up.
