GPL and Voodoo2 problem

When I try to race GPL with my Moster 3d II, the track had sections that are
flashing weird psychadelic black colors in some places.  When I tried turning
3dfx off It was Ok but undriveable with my P166...real chunky.  The frame rate
seemed real good with 3dfx but I would like to try it without the weird
colors.

Update your drivers.  The first version of the Voodoo2 drivers cause the
problems you are referring to.  You should be able to find the latest
reference drivers at http://www.3dfx.com/download/sdk/index.html

I also have the M3D2. You need the reference drivers from
www.3dfx.com. The "200" drivers from Diamond are no good with GPL demo.
Hopefully Diamond will have our new and ever improving drivers out soon
:)

Had same prob w monster 3d2 in GPL. I turn Grourad (sp?) shading off and prob goes
away for me. You have to keep shutting it off each time you go to the menu.

Yes, but you can't run it at 800 X 600 or 1280 X 768 on the track or
in replays. And as you say, you have to keep turning that damned Gourad
off. Btw, it looks a whole heao better with Gourad! With the reference
drivers you can do it all! Get 'em! :))
