I have a T2 wheel/pedal setup hooked up via joystick port on my SB-16
card. This setup tests fine in Control Panel / *** Devices and
works flawlessly in Interstate-76, Need for Speed II SE, Need for
Speed III, Nascar 2 (in DOS box), and even Grand Prix Legends alpha.
However, upon entering GPL, I am forced to Options screen. Clicking to
assign a function (ie Accelerate) or selecting 'Generic Input' results
in a partial hourglass and a total system hang. I play a TON of games
on this system and I have had absolutely NO joystick problems.
Also, tried a Gravis Analog joystick in place of T2 and it hung as
well. Upgraded to DirectX6 and it didn't help either <sigh>
If anyone has any ideas (I already emailed Sierra support), I would
love to hear them.
