Question about GPL

Question about GPL

I play this game for a year now.

There is still one problem - no saving in the race.
I usually drive hotlaps only, do no racing, because
its impossible for me to drive an hour without making
some accidents.

Is there a midrace saving feature planned in the
upcoming patch? (for singleplayer may be enough)

If you can't run a hour race, and most of us can't. Then why don't you
just run shorter races?

That has been a topic since the release of the demo. Most of us would like to
be able to save a game and answer the phone or whatever but it won't be an
option soon.

If you had quoted the post, I would know what he was talking about.
What I gather from your post is the ability to pause GPL in mid
stream..  Use the pause key!  On my keyboard it's the Pause/break key
right next to the Scroll lock key and the Print screen key.  I've run a
couple off line races and paused to answer a knock at the door.

No, I want a mid-race save feature for singleplayer, like it was
in GP1 and GP2. It will add SO MUCH to GPL for me.

I want to drive whole races, I did that with GP1 and 2 and F1 Racing Sim.
Its great to drive those long races, its just the most fun part of driving
simulations.

hehe Mike..
Even though they've made great strides in technology I still don't think
it's particularily good for an unmoving pic to be left on your monitor for a
day or two.<G>

Because we are simrace'holics, and GPL is our meeting place ;-)

Actually it's quite fun, you need to find a new approach to your race
strategy.  It's more surviving but yet it's challenging, not as easy as you
think it is to keep your concentration for all those laps.  After a 600miler
at C***te on the NROS, your ***was numb for a full hour :)

I'm sure it's been asked, but could you tell me, after a full length race do you
finally see tire wear in GPL?

:o) That's remind me my favorite "onlin" race.
I've race in null modem at Phoenix in ICR2 with a friend, full race ! including
pit stops !
We played 1h30 and the max gap was 1.04 seconds. We played with joysticks.
After the race our hands shaked a lot and during the race we had cramps :o)

My joytick was completly wet ( Gravis Analog Pro ) :o)

I've finished 2nd at 0.2 seconds !

There's nothing better than racing during long times !

I think i'm gona try F3 races :o)
