The version you have doesn't have any setup menu. Since it's only an alpha
preview, Papyrus decided to not include the setup menu, for many reasons.
What you heard on setup in the newsgroup is because some of us are Papyrus
beta testers, and have the possibility to test the game more than you could
with the normal alpha demo. Most of the testers have long relationship with
Papyrus, and It's very difficult to be one of them.
I'm still waiting in line, and I would hope someday they think of me. <g>
I could help them allot, and I hope I'm the next in the list. Thanks a lot,

sorry but you cant adjust the settings in this mini demo released by
papyrus its just for us to test out what the final game will be like
before its released and i hope that you won't be disappointed it is just
not possible to make any alterations to the setups that are provided in
the demo do you realuise that this is really quite a bastard of a way of
typing and im stuffed if i know how in christs name you can do it
without any punctuation or grammatical inputs whatsoever goodbye

You should have think of that before, they know you are too dangerous now, if
they
sent you a beta version, you could try to make people happy by posting it, in
the newsgroup.
Bye Coco

The only real adjustment you can make in the demo is to set the steering
sensitivity via the Linear -- Non-Linear slider. Well of course you can
turn on some of the aids, but until the full release comes out you will
have to learn how to drive a poorly setup car.
