LWFF and W2K Installation Problem

by J.Maxwel » Thu, 02 Dec 1999 04:00:00

I left my wheel turned on while installing RC3 and Win2k detected it, and
installed a driver for it.  It works fine in GPL, however, there is no force
feedback.  for what it's worth......

Has someone successfully install LWFF under W2K RC2? According to the
Wingman Team, the controller is supported by RC2 and up. When I tried
to install it, W2K was able to detect the device, but failed to finish
the install because no driver can be found (under WINNT\SYSTEM32\INF).
Any help would be appreciated.

Then it doesn't "work fine" does it??? What do you expect. W2K
is really NT.

Uhhhh, like I said, it works fine except for no force feedback.  I know what
I said dude.  And what does that startling revelation about W2K really being
NT have to do with anything?
