LWFF and GP2 - calibration problems

by Matthew Wiggin » Sun, 22 Aug 1999 04:00:00

Hi,
I am having problems with my LWFF and Grand Prix 2. Most of the time it
works fine, but every so often the full movement of the wheel will not
register in GP2 and so the wheel acts in a progressively more 'digital'
way - ie. the range of values for the wheel axis is reduced. Being a DOS
program, I know that there may be no fix for this, but is anyone else having
the same problem?

TIA

LWFF and GP2 - calibration problems

I noticed GP2 calibration sometimes detects value ranges twice as large as
normal. So would I not have calibrated, the actual controller range would
have been halved. I made calibration after starting GP2 a habit and have no
problems now. After a boot the values are usually normal as well.
This was with an ECCI and with a MSSWFF, so I guess it's not controller
dependent.
