LFS w2k problem

I recently killed (on purpose, felt good too) my XP SP1 and installed
the win2k. With the same detonators for my GF4 MX the game seems to
be having some problems running.

I have the same frame rates, from 40 to 60, but the picture seems
lagged a bit, like a fast slideshow. Any ideas what could be the
problem?

I don't have any service packs installed, I'll install the SP4
next week when I get it. Could that be the problem?

Have you installed DirectX & your motherboard drivers?

Don't have any specific answers, but can attest to running LFS on
W2K with no problems at all. Just make sure your DirectX is up-
to-date, all drivers up to date.

I believe I am running only SP1 or SP2.. have run Windows Update
from time to time but certainly don't think I'm right up to SP4.
I really wouldn't think the SP level would have any bearing on
*** performance, though I may be wrong.

Yes, of course. The latest via 4in1, detonators and DX9.
