I am truly wounded by that statement, Tony... :)

I feel one of my headaches coming on...

It was never like this in Days of Thunder

Sorry John, forgot about your many years chairing the debating society :)

Now anyone got any questions? :)

Cheers!
Tony

Well I made a prediction a week ago about what might appear in the
upcoming
mods being done for N2003. Well I recieved a few interesting emails and one
of them assured me that not only is the GPL code in N2003 but it has been
for
awhile. I was also informed it would be brought to life.
If you can't think physics perhaps you have blinders on. :-)

Sometimes strange things happen :-) - welcome back, John!

And N2k3 together with Noonan's converted road circuits is a must have. In
addition the upcoming patch to N2k3 will open the door for a TransAm mod
with physics appropriate for that car class, and there's a group of people
working on such a mod (Project Wildfire).

One thing you might consider, we're flying IL2-FB online fairly often, with
Roger Wilco for voice comms. This is good fun, too.

You wouldn't nail the throttle, but sometimes you just feel that a little
blip on the throttle will help.

What you call heel and toe, does that imply that the clutch is depressed, or
can that also be done while the clutch is engaged?

I'll gladly withdraw the word 'better' - I simply meant 'easier to use and
hence allowing for lower laptimes'  :-)

Yep, I have problems hitting my shift lever to look left/right(wheel buttons
are up/downshift.  And, it cost me a league championship(GPL).  I tried to make
a pass for the lead, but couldn't balance the look right while I was scrambling
for traction/steering inputs to make the turn...  Had I been in F10 view, I'd
have known that the pass was complete, and probably won the race...  :-(

Sorry, but in 1995 Max Moseley (sp?) actually stated publicly - after a
comment made by Jaques Villeneuve - that F1 drivers WEREN'T MEANT TO BE
HAVING "FUN".

In addition to that fact, coaches and officials associated with most of the
Olympic sports - particularly those in which the Europeans have
traditionally excelled (such as gymnastics) - have long held to the credo
that the kids are not there to have "fun".

Sorry, my friend, but the day that professionalism entered what were
traditionally amateur sports, "fun" disappeared out the door at a zillion
miles an hour.

Bruce.

That was because of my liking for history and yes, I KNOW that F1 cars
haven't raced at IoM but in my view they are closer to bikes than are NASCAR
machines. :)
