Can anyone shed some light on a recent problem when trying to install the
engine changer utility for GPL...   keep getting the error message  -
(subscript out of range, error 99).        VROC won't work either.

Recently installed WinXP, and I am sure that is the culprit .

There is a DLL file included with VROC that conflicts with one
provided by XP. Rename the DLL file (riched20.dll) in the VROC
directory and try again. If that works, you can delete the renamed
file in the VROC directory. That will definitely solve the VROC
issue. All I can say about GEM+ is that it is working fine on my
computer with XP (but perhaps I reinstalled VROC and fixed it before
I installed GEM+....)
