HMMMMMM !!!!!

I've just bought a SB Live soundcard.
But now I can't play GPL anymore...
It won't allow me to calibrate my steering wheel. Everytime
I try it, it crashes.
Anybody out here with simular problem, solved of course ???

Say Hey,
I too, have an SB Live. It's very picky about what slot it's installed in and
what IRQ it uses. Check the Newsgroup for your motherboard manufacturer, or try
re-installing GPL. I'm using an Abit BX6 rev.2.02 MB and it works fine.

My guess is Win9X doesn't know what joystick port you're using.  You
need to go into game controllers under control panel and let the system
know that you're using the SBLive! gameport and not the standard
gameport.

Put Glide 2.53 in your GPL folder before you try to calibrate.  You can
remove it afterward if you prefer, but I will bet you are using a Voodoo
card and this is a common problem when installing a new wheel or game port.
It sounds unreal, but try it....it is likely a graphics card/driver issue.
I sure hope GPL 1.1 fixes this big annoyance.

Marc.
