I have decided to move up from my old basic SB AWE 64 soundcard so I can
maximize the use of my new Altec Lansing 5 speaker setup.
Locally, the SB Live X-Gamer is about $ 30.00 more than the SB Live Value
card. Is it worth it, especially with the 5 speaker setup??????

SB live value also has output for digital sound. I do not know the
difference but I know that the live is a very good card. I have the
output thruogh my home stereo and I can't imagine it sounding any
better.
