Can anyone tell me if the Creative Labs SoundBlaster Live X-Gamer will
run A3D????

I saw an ad at Comp-USA for that card, plus Creative/Cambridge PC Works
Subwoofer and 2 speaker set for $130, which seems like a pretty good
deal, considering that I am currently running an ISA based Soundblaster
AWE32, from 1995!

Your thoughts ????

Thank You!

Nope,
It uses EAX.  A3D is supported by Diamond MX300 though.  IMHO, A3D is a
dying breed anyway

I read somewhere that A3D is no longer going to be supported. Can't remember
where though. I saw it when I was researching which card to get, MX300 or
Live, I went with the Live Xgamer since EAX seemed to be the lasting
standard.

Thanks for the advise folks!

Question... Does N3 support the EAX format ??? What about GPL and other
common/popular racing sims'

And... If I were to go with the A3D 2.0 type card, does it allow you to
run DOS games like N2, and GP2 ????

Thanks again for the help!
