I have installed a new SB Live ! Value to my system (PII,266MHz,
 64MB RAM, Voodoo I with driver 2.43) After installation i have noticed
 problems with the GPL graphics. In some menus some golden characters
 are blinking, in race comes to distorsions of the graphics for very
 short time and so on. I can play the sim but it is very uncomfortable.
 Till the installation of SB Live! Value i had no problems with GPL.
 Have somebody solution or same problems like i? Thanks. BTW: The sound
 is now incredible:-)

Check in the Windows device manager to see if your sound card and grapics
card are tryying to share the same IRQ.
