gpl - slowing cpu's down ?

by MJS » Wed, 05 Apr 2000 04:00:00

I'm playing gpl and i used the tweak program to slow the cpu's down. They
now run around 1.30 at monza but now suddenly they've started running 1.28
and i don't know why. I've set the program so it doesn't improve cars speed
as i improve and they didn't until now. I've been playing online would that
affect my settings ? Is there another way to slow down the cpu's ?

If you don't mind mucking around in the .INI files, open the drivers.ini
and in each of the driver's sections you will see a bunch of parameters,
mostly using some number just a bit greater than one.  If you change
these to less than one, the drivers will go slower.  Of course, this is
a lot of work, changing 6 or 7 parameters for 19 drivers.

Couldn't you also just clear the records file for Monza?
