Need to slow down GPL cars for dad...

My Dad, who is battling a major illness, just go GPL and is enjoying it. But
I would like to be able to slow down the opponents to help him out. He gets
a little frustrated when he gets left in the dust. Does anyone know how to
accomplish this?

Thanks!

Get the AI Tweaker program from the USPits
http://www.theuspits.com/owheel/gpl/files/AITw103.zip I've never used it
myself but it's supposed to work great.

Another thing you might want to do is have him race in the trainers
instead of the "real deal"

If you edit the player.ini in gpl\players\His_Name

[ Personal Information ]

driverRating = 3                                ; driver rating

Change the 3 down to 2 for the advanced trainer and 1 for the novice
trainer. Makes things much less challenging, lowers the max HP and RPM
of the cars, much easier to control.

... Could also try racing around Indy as well, nice easy track, 4
turns, nut much braking.. ;) The only place I'm near a contender at =)

Brian, you've probably had dozens of replies to this question via e-mail.

If not, let me know and I can send you a file that will do the trick.  The
effect can be reveresed by simply dumping that file.
