I am ALSO getting odd frame rate hits. Not a slow down, sporadic, come to a
video halt, hits. For up to a second. It can be very disconcerting.
Now, the fact of the matter is that I *DO* have a seperate backup drive
sitting on the shelf with a box stock GPL install, DX 5, and original V2
drivers.
Guess I'll have to pull it out, do some drive swapping and comparison, and
get back to you.
